Foster: Santorum is Authentic

‘He can relate to the everyday guy better than anybody’

Watch Foster Friess talk to Bloomberg TV’s Margaret Brennan about why he thinks Rick Santorum is the best man for the job of President of the United States (7:33).

I hope that you can use this information in some way to get Rick Santorum elected. I believe that he is the only one who can take Obama on in a civil manner. Obama is very slick and from what I have seen of Romney and Gingrich, neither would be able to keep their cool. There so many Hispanics who came here legally and are opposed to those who come illegally. Gingrich and Romney are pandering to illegals to get the sympathic Latino vote. If Santorum gives a voice to Hispanics who are here legally it is very lickly that he will get their votes. They surely need help in getting their message out.

Below are some sites that are in agreement with this cause. I truly wish that there would be more about how Hispanic Americans and those who have come here legally on national television. I will do what I can to inform those I know and, write to media outlets. This subject needs coverage on TV, radio and in print.

Please read the article I have been circulating on face book and emails, just below these sites before you vote. After doing research on the GOP candidates, I believe Rick Santorum is the only one who doesn’t think he has to pander to Hispanics for their vote. He stands for all Americans and legal immigrants.

    VOTERS, PLEASE WAKE UP!!!
Before you decide for whom to vote, please carefully consider Rick Santorum.
I have watched, and carefully listened to the last few debates, along with ads, and interviews after the debates with the nonstop rhetoric of Romney and Gingrich bitterly going after each other. In my opinion neither are presidential material. Romney is hesitant with his answers and Gingrich comes across as a know-it-all bratty child who dares any one to question superiority or doubt that what he says is the gospel truth.

Gingrich has shown that he is not a true conservative when he called Paul Ryan’s Medicare plan “right-wing social engineering,” and supported individual mandate. He has flip-flopped on global warming; and most recently his answer to deal with Cuba is to overthrow the Castro Regime was absurd. Since Perry and Gingrich are friends, I wouldn’t doubt that Gingrich encouraged him to drop out of the race, just as he encouraged Santorum to do the same.

Romney is not much better. We are aware of the healthcare program he signed as Massachusetts governor, and he signed the only cap-and-trade bill among the states in 2005, saying Massachusetts was “the first and only state to set CO2 emissions limits on power plants.” Additionally, both he and Gingrich are for a form of amnesty. Santorum believes that America needs fair and robust immigration policy that will continue to protect Americans, reward lawful citizens, and help grow our economy.

Gingrich and Romney have been helping Democrats plan their attacks against the Republican nominee, should either one of them be nominated.

As with any human, no nominee of either party would be perfect, but these two have way too much baggage that will take the focus off of making Obama a one term president. And, although I respect him, Ron Paul is just too extreme in many of his views.

Have you wondered why Romney and Gingrich dominate most of the time during the debates and Santorum and Paul seem to have been left in the outfield? The moderators delight in Romney and Gingrich going after each other’s baggage. Santorum has little. Yes, he did request earmarks for his state. That’s pretty much it on his baggage. And from the first debate through the one tonight, he is the one who calls for, and maintains decorum. John McCain never requested earmarks yet he lost to Obama. Perhaps it was his “maverick” attitude that he could do no wrong. We as a nation cannot allow Obama to have another term. He is destroying our country.

As for the wealth of the candidates, Rick Santorum’s total net worth is $1 to $3 million. The lowest of the four candidates.

Ron Paul total net worth: $2.4 to $5.4 million
Newt Gingrich total net worth: $7 to $31 million
Mitt Romney total net worth: $85 to $264 million

This election is truly going to be the defining moment of what will become of our nation. I do hope and pray that neither the Republican party, nor voters do what it seems they have done so often, bestow the nomination on “the next in line.”

Below is the experience and years spent in politics of the candidates. Yes, years of life experience does give us knowledge but, in this case the years spent in Washington, can be more of a disadvantage. Gingrich has way too much, 20 years plus the time spent on K Street; Romney too little; but Santorum’s experience is just right. Paul is certainly a gentleman, but too much of a libertarian.

When it comes to age, Santorum is a much better match to debate Obama. He is articulate, very knowledgeable, and does not fly off the handle. I am sure he would maintain the same decorum he has shown in the debates, contrasting the deep divide between what has happened to our country during Obama’s administration and how he and his administration would restore the United States to its former glory. Additionally, the younger voter will not see him as the “grandfatherly” image. He is a family man and, with seven children, ages 3 to 20, he can certainly relate to the issues facing parents.

Please, when you go to vote, remember that we must have the best candidate who will make Obama a one term president. The future of our country depends on YOU!

For a real eye-opener, go to the sites below to see how much it is costing the United States citizen to accommodate illegals. Our children are being cheated of a top notch education because billions of federal and state dollars, our tax dollars, go to educating children of illegals.

I have experienced some of the immigrant background that defines Rick Santorum. My dad was born in Italy and came to America as a teen. Worked; joined the Army in WW I and had a family who were brought up speaking English and loving their country. i was never a hyphenated American. For me, Rick portrays the best of the immigrant foundation of America; people of character and determination crossed the sea to establish a better future for themselves and their children. This is a most wholesome story coming at a time when we need to restore such a tie to our past. Authentic? Yes, and a fitting reminder of our Founding fathers.
