Get ready for $6, even $7, a gallon?
Energy Secretary Stephen Chu yesterday told a Congressional hearing that the administration is not concerned about lowering gas prices. Instead, Chu wants to “take the pain out of high gas prices.”
What? Will we feel less pain because we’ll feel more European or environmentally-connected as we burn money to fill our gas tanks to get to work, school, shops, and—Government forbid—vacations and extraneous visits to family and friends?
