Why doesn’t the president build us more jobs?
The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper reports that in the last three months more Americans have signed up for the Social Security Administration’s Disability program than have obtained a job.
But job creation should be easy, right? After all, it doesn’t take individual hard workers to build businesses, as President Obama said. Which is good, because they can be hard to find sometimes. All we have to do is get together and encourage each other, and businesses will build themselves. I think those signs in classrooms that say “The Difference Between Ordinary and Extraordinary is that Little Extra” alone have probably created a good portion of the nation’s jobs in the past 15 years. That and those one-word motivational posters with pictures.
