This Romney Tax-Return Thing Has Gotten Absurd

Mainstream Media doesn’t even pretend to be objective anymore

Right now CNN has an article with the headline that reads “Why Won’t Romney Release More Tax Returns?” with the sub-headline saying “Anyone who aspires to America’s highest office should be thoroughly vetted.”

Unbelievable. Barack Obama waltzed into the Oval Office without so much as an inquisitive glance from the mainstream media, yet for months they have been dissecting Mitt Romney’s finances, all in an attempt to perpetuate this administration’s tactic of class warfare. They will do anything to distract the American people from the issues that affect their own lives.

Frankly, I’m much more concerned about the company Barack Obama keeps. I’m much more interested in knowing who has influenced his political ideology the most. I want to know what his true intentions are.

Actually, I already do, and the answer to all those questions revolves around socialism. Yet that is something the CNNs of the world refuse to acknowledge.

The fact that Mitt Romney is still ahead, with the media completely distorting everything and ignoring all of Barack Obama’s ineptitude and shady dealings, just shows how desperate this country is for something other than this Big Government Dystopia.

Thomas, the Progressive movement and its wholly-owned subsidiary the mainstream media went a bridge too far in 2010, but now like the Obama administration, in an almost cartoon-style freefall.

You were too young to remember Reagan’s landslide victory over Carter, as described in this series of clips from Wikipedia:

“The election was held on November 4, 1980. Ronald Reagan with running mate George H.W. Bush beat Carter by almost 10 percentage points in the popular vote.

“Republicans also gained control of the Senate for the first time in twenty-five years on Reagan’s coattails.

“The electoral college vote was a landslide, with 489 votes (representing 44 states) for Reagan and 49 votes for Carter (representing 6 states and the District of Columbia).

“Carter’s loss was the worst defeat for an incumbent President since Herbert Hoover lost to Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1932 by a margin of 18%. Carter’s defeat is the most lopsided defeat for any incumbent president in an election where only two candidates won electoral votes. [That won’t happen to the Chicagoland Marxist; his machine is far better than Carter’s.]

“Jimmy Carter is the first incumbent Democrat to serve only one full term since James Buchanan and fail to secure re-election since Andrew Johnson. [Obama will be the second.]

Willard Romney is not the winsome stage presence and golden-tongued orator that lifetime stage actor Ronald Reagan was; there may never be another Gipper.

But there will be another Jimmy Carter in the Marxist ash heap, and thank God for it because our constitutional republic cannot endure this Obamanation.
