Luxury water in NYC is a reminder that for many clean water is still a luxury
For all the problems we face, we still have it pretty good in America: An entrepreneur in New York City’s East Village has just opened a “water only” cafe, called Molecule. For $2.50, you can get a glass of water. Just water! For a little more you can add in a vitamin or mushroom shot. Mushrooms in your water! Sounds to me like the type of stuff you’d want to filter out of your water.
If it sells, then who I am to criticize. At least this water-peddler is creating jobs, unlike all the schemes of President Obama. But if you’re in the market for expensive water, you might also want to throw a little money to the good folks at Water Missions International, longtime friends of Foster who are working to provide safe, clean water solutions to people in places where water truly is a luxury.
