Looks like it takes more than just growing up in Indonesia to convince Islamists to give up their extreme ways
“I truly believe that the day I’m inaugurated not only does the country look at itself differently but the world looks at us differently.”
President Obama said this in 2007, telling a radio host that because he spent time in Indonesia as a kid he could appeal to Muslims who might not otherwise like America. How is that a whole lot different from Sarah Palin saying she can see Russia from her living room?
More than that, as was evident this week, with Islamist thugs raising a black flag at the U.S. embassy in Cairo and murdering our ambassador to Libya, Sen. Obama was incredibly, dangerously naïve.
