Looks like Mitt Romney was on to something about Americans’ increasing dependence on government
During President Obama’s first two years in office, an additional 2 million Americans signed up for food stamps. Data for the past two years is not available (a fact that seems amazing to me, given how easy it is to use technology to keep track of things), but does any one think the numbers will go down, after President Obama—without the approval of Congress—removed the work requirement from welfare?
Not a chance.
