He might not have used the word ‘sorry’ but his intent was clear
Barack Obama got most heated last night when Mitt Romney criticized what he called the president’s foreign “apology tour,” made soon after he took the oath of office. He said the notion that he apologized to the world on behalf of America was one of the “biggest whoppers” of the campaign.
And CNN helped the president out, when their “reality checker” labeled Romney’s contention as “false” because the president never used the word “apology” or “sorry.”
Sure, he didn’t use those words. But look at what he said and try to tell me he wasn’t apologizing for America (1 page). Believe it or not, there are many ways to say you’re sorry.
