Just maybe it is the President who should take responsibility for a massive failure of security and common sense on the anniversary of 9/11
President Obama still hasn’t spoken frankly to the American people about the events that led to the death of our ambassador in Benghazi Libya. But he has fostered the impression that the failure to
provide adequeate information and support before the 9/11/12 attack was the fault of the intelligence community.
But his own CIA Director, the well-respected Gen. David Petraeus, just said this:
“No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate.”
Isn’t it time the President hosts a press conference and addresses this burning issue immediately? Or would he rather wait until he has more flexibility after reelection?
Also—the president and his campaign have tried to paint a picture that Romney is waging a war on women. How does letting Secretary of State Hilary Clinton take the fall for Benghazi, especially after she’s tirelessly traveled the globe to make Obama seem more competent, comport with respect for women?
