New Secretary of State John Kerry thought it would be a good idea to release a quarter of the $1 billion President Obama promised to Egpyt back in May of 2011.
Kerry referred to the giving of aid to the Muslim Brotherhood controlled government as a “good-faith effort” to help the Egyptian people. Except the funds will probably be used to further limit freedoms and spread the power of the Brotherhood. That’s the same Muslim Brotherhood, by the way, whose self-stated goal is to “destroy western civilization from within.”
