International Justice Mission

International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that works to secure justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. Founded in 1997, IJM has field offices in 14 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Their professionals work with local authorities to rescue victims and to prosecute the perpetrators thus strengthening law enforcement at the local level.

IJM’s core values follow the tradition of heroic Christian leaders William Wilberforce, Mother Theresa and Martin Luther King, Jr.. standing against oppression as called for in Isaiah 1:17, ”Seek justice, reprove the ruthless, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.”
